I watched the Stripper / City Utility Worker episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force tonight with my Dad. Said he, "What kind of show is this? Beavis and Butthead grown up plus sexworkers?" This is a guy who watched Louis Ruykeiser and voted for Nixon as a twentysomething; how on earth would he know who Beavis is, let alone understand his contribution to the adult cartoon genre? And the blacklight stripper stuff? The Dad pretends to be clueless, but like The Shadow or Santa Claus he knows what's going on.
